Exterior Painting in Hillcrest

This 80 m² home was built in the 1960s and sits in Hillcrest, on Auckland’s North Shore. The before photo shows cream weatherboards above a darker base.

The exterior had been neglected over the years. The owners decided to refresh the colour scheme through exterior painting in Hillcrest before they sold, and The House Painters prepared the property for the market.

The scheme uses three Dulux colours. Double Tirau goes on the fascia and the base, 1/4 Manorburn on the soffits, and Tirau on the weatherboards. In the after photos the weatherboards show as a pale blue-grey.

Chris and Tyson of The House Painters completed a superb total redec job for our 4 storey townhouse in Parnell. We used THP about 14 years ago in the same property and had no hesitation in inviting them to submit a price for this much bigger job in Nov 2024.
