This Freemans Bay home needed more than a new colour. The weatherboards were chalking, paint was peeling at the edges, and the north and west elevations had faded. Moisture had got in where the paint lifted, and the colour scheme no longer suited the street. The owners were preparing to sell, and the exterior painting had been left long enough that buyers would notice.
