Herald Island Exterior Painting: From Brown and Cream to Pale Blue-Grey

This Herald Island exterior painting project shows how much a colour change can do for a home.

Steve and Christine’s land first held a family bach. When the bach was removed, Steve built a new family home on the site from a kit set.

Many years later, the colours that had served the house well were due for an update. The House Painters created a colour scheme to suit the home and its coastal setting on Herald Island.

The before photos show dark brown weatherboards above cream walls. After the repaint, the home is pale blue-grey with a darker grey base.

All four colours are from Dulux.
