Overlooking Little Shoal Bay on Auckland’s North Shore this beautiful home built in 1925 needed some urgent attention to keep it looking good.
Through regular maintenance and painting, this home’s weatherboards and windows were in sound condition. A few sections of weatherboards, however, had some bubbling paint which was stripped back to bare timber and painted.
Although this home has had additions over the years many stain glass windows were retained keeping the unique character of this home. The house painters paid special attention to these to ensure they continued to impress for many years to come.
The owners of the property wanted to keep similar colours and so we used Resene Half Tea for the weatherboards and Resene Quarter Tea for the windows.
